BCI chief apologises after NALSAR row, says law students must be free to speak

Bar Council of India chairman Manan Kumar Mishra has apologized to law students nationwide. This apology followed a directive against NALSAR University of Law graduates’ enrollment. The controversy arose after students opposed the Chief Justice of India’s convocation invitation. Mishra acknowledged students’ right to express their views independently. He expressed hope for reconciliation and a spirit of fairness moving forward.
