The Meta-owned company stated that to enhance user experience, the company has introduced features like animated stickers, video call effects, and special reactions. Interactive video call effects for video calls For those celebrating the New Year via video calls, WhatsApp has launched ‘Interactive Video Call Effects’. Now, during a video call, tapping on the ‘Effects’ icon for a virtual celebration will display animations of fireworks, confetti, and sparkling stars on the screen. The company has introduced a special ‘2026 layout’ for this. Along with this, a dedicated ‘2026 sticker pack’ has also been released, which will help users send New Year wishes creatively.
