Using Google’s Gemini Nano Banana Pro model, users are turning their normal photos into glossy, playful 3D characters that look straight out of an animated movie. After the craze of 3D figurine edits and the viral saree transformation wave, this quirky style is now the next big aesthetic on everyone’s timeline. How the trend started? The trend really picked up speed when creators on X (formerly Twitter) shared ready-to-use prompts and examples of these exaggerated 3D edits. One of the first to boost the trend was AI creator @ShreyaYadav_, who posted simple instructions along with sample results. Her post helped thousands of users try the effect on their own pictures within hours. Result: More creators join the trend Soon after, another creator, @azed.ai, jumped in and shared a similar prompt—but with celebrity examples. Dwayne Johnson, Will Smith and more stars were seen with oversized cartoon-like heads, shiny textures and lively colors. These fun exaggerations created a perfect mix of realism and animation, making the style instantly eye-catching.
