Samsung has officially taken a huge leap in smartphone design. The company has introduced the Galaxy Z TriFold, its first-ever multi-folding phone, marking a bold move to stay ahead in the fast-growing world of foldables. The launch comes at a time when Chinese brands are quickly catching up and even pushing ahead especially in foldable tech. Even though the excitement around foldables is rising, experts believe these devices will stay a premium, niche product for now due to their high prices and complex manufacturing process. Global availability and pricing Samsung’s long-awaited Galaxy Z TriFold will hit stores in South Korea on December 12. Samsung is releasing the TriFold in a single variant: Design and build: Three panels, one ultra-thin device One of the biggest highlights of the Galaxy Z TriFold is its sleek, futuristic design. At its thinnest point, the phone measures just 3.9 mm making it one of the slimmest foldable devices ever created. To keep the structure stable and durable, Samsung uses: This special hinge setup lets the three screens fold smoothly, meet with almost no gap, and still maintain a slim profile.
