OpenAI has launched ChatGPT Health, a new dedicated section within ChatGPT that allows users to ask health-related questions, upload medical records, and connect to wellness applications.
The feature is designed to help users better understand and manage their personal health information by bringing data from multiple sources into a single, secure space.

Why did OpenAI build this? OpenAI executive Fidji Simo explained that many medical issues happen because doctors are short on time and patient records are often scattered. In her words: This medication could have created very serious complications for me, and she was glad I caught it. She said ChatGPT once flagged a medication risk during a hospital visit that was missed earlier because of limited time and fragmented records. How does ChatGPT Health work? Users can connect data from apps and services like: Once connected, ChatGPT can answer questions using your own data, like: It can also help with: Important: OpenAI says ChatGPT Health is not meant to diagnose or treat. This means that anything discussed within ChatGPT Health remains confined to the Health space and is not mixed with other ChatGPT interactions. Who can use it right now? For now, ChatGPT Health is rolling out slowly. It is available to a small group of early users and open to Free, Go, Plus, and Pro plans users.
