It features a 50-megapixel Sony LYTI 600+ AI camera and a powerful 7000mAh battery. The Moto G57 Power has been introduced in a single variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. The phone’s sale will begin on December 3rd on Flipkart, Motorola’s website, and retail stores. Price and Variants The base variant of the Moto G57 Power 5G with 8GB RAM + 128GB storage is priced at ₹14,999, but with launch offers and bank discounts, it will be available for ₹12,999. The smartphone is currently available in only one storage option, but the company has stated that it may launch a 256GB variant as well. The Moto G57 Power will be available in three color options: Pantone Regatta, Pantone Fluidity, and Pantone Corsair. If you are looking for a 5G phone on a budget, this option might appeal to you because it lacks features like NFC and IP rating, but it is suitable for basic users. Display and Design The phone features a 6.72-inch Full-HD+ LCD display, which comes with a 120Hz refresh rate. The peak brightness is up to 1050 nits, making it easy to operate outdoors. It has Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection, and the Smart Water Touch 2.0 feature allows touch to work even with wet hands. Regarding design, the phone’s size is 166.23 x 76.50 x 8.60 millimeters and it weighs 210.6 grams, which might feel a bit heavy due to the battery. This is a plastic-bodied phone, which is common in the mid-range. Camera Setup In the camera department, the main highlight of the Moto G57 Power 5G is its 50-megapixel Sony LYT-600 sensor, which can record 2K video at up to 60fps with an f/1.8 aperture. Along with this, there is an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens, which provides a 119.5-degree field of view. On the front, there is an 8-megapixel selfie camera. AI features include Shot Optimization, Auto Smile Capture, Magic Eraser, Photo Unblur, Reimage Auto Frame, Portrait Blur, Portrait Light, Sky, Color Pop, and Cinematic Photos. This will be fine for daily photography. Processor and Performance This phone features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 chipset, built on a 4nm process. It has four performance cores running at 2.4GHz and four efficiency cores running at 1.8GHz. Multitasking will be smooth with 8GB LPDDR4x RAM, and the 128GB storage can be expanded with a microSD card. Connectivity includes 5G, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.1, dual-band Wi-Fi, and USB Type-C. Sensors include accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity, ambient light, and e-compass, along with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. For gaming or heavy use, it will perform averagely. Battery and Charging Battery life is the biggest plus point of this phone. The powerful 7000mAh battery comes with 33W wired fast charging. According to the company, the smartphone can last 2-3 days on a single charge, especially for light users. Like older Moto G series phones, this is a battery-focused device. Software and Updates Moto G57 Power 5G is based on Android 16, which is the latest version. Motorola has promised security updates, but details about OS upgrades are not clear yet.
