The Supreme Court has granted anticipatory bail to former SIB chief T Prabhakar Rao, the last of six accused in the illegal phone tapping case to secure bail. The court directed Rao to surrender his passport and not travel abroad without permission. The state government informed the apex court that the investigation is complete and a supplementary chargesheet is imminent.
