At CES 2026 in Las Vegas, adult tech company ‘Lovense’ has unveiled what it claims is the world’s first humanoid doll with built-in memory and conversational abilities. The doll, named Emily, is designed to look and behave like a real person. According to the company, Emily can remember a user’s preferences and refer to past conversations, making interactions feel more personal over time. Lovense is marketing it as a “girlfriend service” and categorises it as an advanced sex toy. Price and availability
Emily’s price is expected to range between $4,000 and $8,000 (around ₹3.3 lakh to ₹6.6 lakh), depending on the level of customisation. Pre-orders have opened on Lovense’s website, with a $200 (about ₹16,500) reservation fee. The company says deliveries will begin in 2027. Emily Robot: Silicone body and speaking face Emily is a life-size robot, whose outer body is made of silicone to give it the feel of real skin. Inside, it has a flexible framework (Skeleton), allowing its limbs to be bent.
It also features facial expressions and mouth movements for speaking. The company states that its hardware is just one part; the real magic lies in its ’emotional software’. This robot tries to understand your mood while talking to you.
First Robot with Memory: ‘Emily’ doesn’t forget past conversations Until now, adult robots only gave rote answers, but Emily is different. It uses machine learning technology. Will help in overcoming loneliness and boosting confidence Lovense has introduced this product not just as a sex toy, but as a ‘companion’. According to the company, Emily can help people who feel lonely or who hesitate to interact in society.
The company says that this is a ‘judgment-free’ relationship, where the user can express their feelings without any fear and boost their confidence. Growing Competition: ‘Aria’ arrived last year Artificial intelligence is now moving beyond screens and taking on a physical form. Last year at CES 2025, a humanoid robot named ‘Aria’ was showcased, which was more advanced than Emily.
Its company ‘Realbotix’ is now creating robots that can be used not only in personal life but also in healthcare and corporate services. Emily’s arrival shows that in the future, the difference between humans and robots will further diminish.
