POCO M8 to come with 50MP camera:Smartphone with Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor and curved OLED display, expected price ₹20,000

Tech company Xiaomi’s sub-brand Poco has confirmed the launch of its new ‘M’ series smartphone ‘Poco M8’ in India. The company has made the mobile’s microsite live on Flipkart, where the phone’s first look and some key features have been shared. Poco M8 will be launched in the market with a 50-megapixel main camera, Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor, and a curved OLED display. Although the company has not yet revealed the launch date, it is believed that it could be launched in the market in the second week of January. This phone could be a rebranded version of Redmi Note 15 5G, which is set to launch in India on January 6. The phone’s price could be around 20 thousand rupees. In India, it will compete with smartphones like Nothing Phone (3a) Lite, Realme 15T, Infinix GT 30, and Vivo Y400 Pro. Design: Will feature a 6.7-inch curved OLED screen Efforts have been made to give the Poco M8’s design a premium look. According to leaks, it could feature a 6.7-inch FHD+ curved OLED display, which will give it a flagship phone feel when held in hand. The phone’s front may feature extremely thin bezels and a center punch-hole selfie camera. It will have a high refresh rate panel, ensuring smooth scrolling and animations. Additionally, high peak brightness will be provided for better visibility. The back panel will feature a textured finish and a large camera module. For safety, the phone may also be given a dust and water resistance rating (IP rating). Poco M8: Specifications Camera: For photography, the phone may feature a 50-megapixel main sensor along with a 20-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calling. Performance: This phone may be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor. This chipset is built on 4-nanometer fabrication, with a clock speed of up to 2.4GHz. It will provide better performance for gaming and multitasking. Battery: The Poco M7 phone may come with a 5,520mAh battery for power backup. To charge it quickly, the mobile may be equipped with 45W fast charging technology.
