BRS chief K Chandrasekhar Rao announced a people’s movement to secure Telangana’s rightful share in the Krishna river and on the Palamuru-Rangareddy lift irrigation scheme. He criticized the Congress government for its alleged apathy and the Centre’s attitude, promising to expose both through public meetings. KCR also accused the current government of mismanaging land and investment deals.
