Smartphone maker OnePlus is going to launch its flagship smartphone, OnePlus 15R and mid-range tablet ‘OnePlus Pad Go 2’ in the Indian market tomorrow, December 17.
The company will unveil both these devices on its 12th anniversary. The launch event will take place tomorrow at 7:00 PM in Bengaluru. The OnePlus 15R will be launched with a Snapdragon 8 Gen-5 processor, 7400mAh battery, and a 50-megapixel camera. Its price could be between ₹40,000 and ₹50,000. In this price range, this will be the first smartphone in India with a Snapdragon 8 Gen-5 processor. Meanwhile, the ‘OnePlus Pad Go 2’ will be launched with a MediaTek Dimensity 7300-Ultra processor and a 10,050mAh battery. The tablet’s price could be around ₹20,000.
OnePlus 15R: Specifications Performance: The OnePlus 15R will feature a Snapdragon 8 Gen-5 processor for performance. This mobile chipset is an octa-core processor built on a 3-nanometer process, capable of running at a clock speed of up to 3.8GHz. It provides powerful and lag-free processing. The phone will come with the Color OS 16 operating system based on Android 16. It will feature LPDDR5X RAM, which helps in smooth multitasking. The mobile has UFS 4.1 storage, enabling fast data transfer. Additionally, the phone will support NFC, WiFi 7, and Bluetooth 5.4. Battery: The company has officially announced that the OnePlus 15R will be launched with a 7400mAh battery. It will feature 80W Super VOOC charging technology for charging.
Prior to this, no OnePlus smartphone has come with such a large battery. The recently launched OnePlus 15 smartphone was launched with a 7300mAh battery. The battery of the OnePlus 15R is built on Silicon Nanostack Technology. The company claims that even after 4 years, its battery health will not drop below 80%. Camera: For photography, the OnePlus 15R will feature a dual camera setup on its back panel. It includes a 50-megapixel Sony IMX906 main rear sensor with optical image stabilization and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens.
Meanwhile, for selfies and video calling, a 16-megapixel front camera will be available. The phone will come with a DetailMax engine. It will offer advanced features like Ultra Clear Mode, Clear Burst, and Clear Night Engine.

The company stated that the mobile is TUV Rheinland Intelligent Eye Care 5.0 certified, which will help protect eyes from damage even when used in the dark. The screen will also feature an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint sensor.
OnePlus Pad Go 2: Specifications Performance: The OnePlus Pad Go 2 will be introduced with the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Ultra chipset. It offers good performance for gaming and daily use in the mid-range.
The company claims that the tablet has received a 4-year fluency certification, meaning it will provide smooth and reliable performance for a long time.
Battery: For power backup, the tablet will feature a 10,050mAh battery and 33W Super VOOC fast charging. The company claims that on a full charge, the tablet can play videos for up to 15 hours, listen to music for 53 hours, or remain on standby for 60 days. Display: It features a large 12.1-inch screen on the front, with a peak brightness of 900 nits. The display has also received TUV Rheinland Intelligence Eye Care 4.0 certification, meaning prolonged use will not harm the eyes. The screen has been specially optimised for Open Canvas multitasking software, meaning you can easily switch between split screens and multiple windows. The tablet will come with Dolby Vision support. OnePlus Pad Go 2 Stylo The company will also launch the OnePlus Pad Go 2 Stylo for the first time. This stylus has been specially designed for this tablet. It can be used for writing and painting for half a day on just 10 minutes of charging.
